Can you tell us about how you came up with the idea for Ghostwriter app? What inspired you to create this tool?
Patrick:
While exploring ChatGPT for equine topics, I was impressed with the wealth of information it offered and the ease of comprehension in its responses. However, I grew weary of the tedious task of copying and pasting the information into Microsoft Word and dealing with formatting problems. Consequently, I developed a ChatGPT add-in for Microsoft Office to streamline the process. To my surprise, it has been a triumph, and I relish the opportunity to connect with individuals from all over the globe and learn about how they integrate it into their daily work routines.

How do you think GPT technology is disrupting the industry? What role do you see Ghostwriter playing in this disruption?
Patrick:
I am fully convinced that the emergence of Generational AI will bring about a complete disruption in every profession and industry. After working on Ghostwriter for a couple of months and making around 20 updates to it, I am now planning to create the next generation of Ghostwriter that will be specifically tailored for professions. I am taking a vertical approach because generative AI works best when it is customized to answer specific questions based on the user's identity, profession, and project. My initial version of Ghostwriter will be designed for Consultants, followed by Education and Attorneys.

Can you elaborate on the ways in which Ghostwriter can change day-to-day work? How do you see the app being used in various industries?
Patrick:
As mentioned earlier, a significant amount of time is spent in preparing the AI to fulfill our requests. However, shouldn't the tool be capable of doing that for us or at least remember our preferences? This is where Ghostwriter comes into play. It is designed to cater to your profession and replicate your daily workflow. This feature will save a considerable amount of time and effort while interacting with the AI.

There are concerns that AI and automation may lead to job loss. What is your view on this? Do you believe that tools like Ghostwriter will lead to job loss, or do you think they will create new opportunities and possibilities?
Patrick:
The advent of incredible technologies can have an impact on employment opportunities. However, individuals possess remarkable adaptability and can swiftly acquire new skills and transition to fresh prospects. Moreover, even artificial intelligence (AI) can aid in the acquisition of knowledge about these new opportunities. The Ghostwriter technology is not designed to replace jobs, but to augment them by enabling more efficient content generation that is of superior quality.

Can you share with us any exciting developments or plans for the future of Ghostwriter? What can users expect from upcoming updates or releases?
Patrick:
My current priority is to develop Professions as the subsequent editions of Ghostwriter. Having interacted with numerous customers across the globe who employ Ghostwriter, their inquiries have become common. They require the application to mimic their everyday work processes, which can only be achieved by concentrating on specific professions. Thanks to the architectural design of Ghostwriter, it can be likened to the foundation of a house. If the foundation is sound, any style of house can be built atop it.

You can purchase it for the app you are going to use most, or for the entire suite. The great thing is that updates are included. I assume that with the technology being new, numerous usability updates will follow.

Testing
I have tried it with several documents that I already wrote. I then chose, for example, "Rewrite" & "Act as an Advertiser" with a creative writing style. This is, of course, something you can also do with ChatGPT, but now it's just a couple of simple choices and you're good to go. For the fun of it, just put a text you already have in the prompt box and change the writing style a couple of times. Then you'll really see how creative you can get with the three options. At the end of the business day, the satirical writing style is quite hilarious.
The Outlook plugin has an extra field where you can choose what kind of email you want to write. And, of course, the more information you feed it, the better. But it works remarkably well.
