Let Midjourney and ChatGPT work for you

I want to organize a knowledge-sharing event for internal purposes. This may be a lengthy read as it outlines the steps to create such an event and discusses some of my mistakes along the way. I want to showcase how to use ChatGPT and Midjourney in a simple use case. In later blogs i will highlight more advanced use-cases, but this could be a use-case that you can use in your own work.

First i want Midjourney to create an invitation.

Cool first try but my question was not clear enough, and it generated this non applicable image. I think i have to be more specific in my question. So i asked ChatGPT to spice up the question.

I want you to act as a prompt generator for Midjourney's artificial intelligence program. Your job is to provide detailed and creative descriptions that will inspire unique and interesting images from the AI. Keep in mind that the AI is capable of understanding a wide range of language and can interpret abstract concepts, so feel free to be as imaginative and descriptive as possible. For example, you could describe a scene from a futuristic city, or a surreal landscape filled with strange creatures. The more detailed and imaginative your description, the more interesting the resulting image will be. Here is your first prompt: "Invitation for AI & GPT Knowledge sharing event "

This is better, i do have a invite now, but it is a picture of an invite and not a design. I decided to rephrase the question to get a better result.

So i asked ChatGPT to create a poster for the event and gave a quite generic statement "AI and GPT Technology" and this is what i got.

I have now a basic image, but i still need an idea for the actual invitation. Since it is an event about GPT, i decided to ask ChatGPT to create a text for the invitation.

This is a good start, but something i want to use. It feels super generic. Can i refine it more to my liking? For ChatGPT the more specific you are the higher the chance of getting a good result. So i asked ChatGPT to create a text for the invitation, but this time i gave a more specific statement.

Afterwards, a drink to chat with each other.

I feel this is much closer to what i want. I still need to do some minor changes, but this is a good start. The great thing about this is that i have created all af the above within 10 minutes. I never expected that the AI will do all my work, but i was hoping it could give me a good start to work on. And it did. I am very happy with the result. I will now send this to the marketing department to see if they can use this.
