Hello and welcome! I’m Jimmy Bandell, a Global Product Manager at Cegeka and a cloud technology enthusiast with a deep passion for Microsoft Azure. In my day job, I help organizations navigate the ever-evolving Azure ecosystem to build secure, innovative cloud solutions. I have been fortunate to lead high-performing teams in delivering both public and private cloud projects, and along the way I’ve learned that the best outcomes come from blending solid technical expertise with a bit of curiosity and a lot of collaboration.
Professional Background in Azure
My career in tech has been all about cloud innovation. I transitioned early on from traditional on-premises setups to modern cloud environments, learning the ins and outs of Azure and hybrid cloud solutions along the way. Over the past few years, I’ve built and guided Azure-focused teams, driving projects that range from cloud governance and security to cutting-edge AI integrations. Through roles in operational management and product strategy, I’ve developed a knack for turning complex cloud challenges into practical, scalable solutions. One thing I never get tired of is mentoring others – seeing colleagues grow into Azure experts is incredibly rewarding and keeps me learning too.
Why This Blog?
I started this blog as an extension of my weekly LinkedIn newsletter, which I curate under the motto Trends, Insights, Lessons Learned. Every week on LinkedIn, I share a roundup of the latest Azure trends, insightful takeaways from the field, and honest lessons from real-world cloud adventures. However, I wanted a space where I could dive a little deeper beyond the bite-sized newsletter format – to share more personal reflections, detailed how-tos, and the stories behind the headlines. That’s how Bandell.cloud was born.
